A young, melancholic woman is sent to the seaside by her dissatisfied husband to regulate and mend her disagreeable state. Isolated, she is forced to come to terms with her truest form.


Shireen Dalbey & Tina Nowarre

Shireen Dalbey is a filmmaker and production assistant based in Vancouver. After earning her degree from Concordia University in Montreal, where she specialized in cinematography and directing, Shireen spent two years traveling and engaging in creative projects. After returning to her hometown, she co-directed and shot the award-winning short, ‘Warmest Regards, E’ (2024). Her films merge magical eccentricity with real-world themes, exploring the human experience through dreamlike visuals and offbeat, yet relatable characters.

Tina Nowarre is a Vancouver-based filmmaker and local film production assistant. With a focus on screenwriting, editing and sound mixing, Tina aims to fuse her skills together to create immersive, heartfelt stories and soundscapes that invite the viewer to escape and ponder. A film school graduate and co-director and screenwriter of the award-winning short feminist film, ‘Warmest Regards, E’ (2024), Tina continues to create, learn and absorb all that she can from the bustling, inspiring world of filmmaking.
