While aboard a ferry, Jeremy’s ideal match appears in a dating app: Nemo. Through messages exchanged in the app, a tenuous connection forms between the two. As the ferry sails on and on into the night, the truth of this connection begins to surface.

The direct communication of brothers fuels the filmmaking tandem of Perry and Alois Sieben. Their first creation is “Night Ferry” (2024), a short film about a dating app user sailing the seas for his ideal match, which blurs the aesthetics of digital communication with BC's beautiful islets and waterways.
