In the 1970s, Robert, Ghislaine, and their 7-year-old daughter Caroline live a most ordinary life in the heart of the Laurentians, enjoying the precious family happiness they have built together. One winter evening, a tragic event will change the course of their lives and jeopardize the happiness they thought they had secured, completely overturning the balance of their small family life.

Pascal Chaumont, active since 2010, has directed music videos for Kevin Parent and others, as well as commercials for Cheetos, Le Lait, and Mercedes. His first short film, 'Douleur d’enfant' featuring Robert Naylor, showcases his ability to capture deep emotions with an attention to detail.
