She’s interested in finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, in both documentary and fiction, and stories about kickass women with hints of dark humour.

Margherita Arco is from a large, messy, over-involved family, where her five sisters are her best friends and have fuelled her storytelling. She is an award winning writer and director, both in comedy and in drama. Her interest lies in family dynamics, history and royalty, often from a woman’s perspective.
