A series of strange happenings leads Emma to discover that she has been declared legally dead. This grave error thrusts Emma into a whole world of limbo as she discovers how much of her life is predicated on being alive on paper. With no money, job or ability to be recognized anywhere, she makes the voyage across the country to start the process of being declared alive. Andrew Jonathan Smith

Andrew Jonathan Smith is an award-winning British writer and director. He honed his skill as a filmmaker working under world-renowned fashion image-maker, Nick Knight, for nearly a decade. He spent three years working on studio films and Emmy-award winning television shows in Los Angeles. He was one of the creative leads behind viral sensation, #INTRODUCTIONS, with the artist trio, LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner. His films tell stories of disenfranchised rebels discovering their true power through intimate connections and acts of resistance. His work has been shown around the world in BIFA-, BAFTA- and Oscar-qualifying festivals, as well as in museums, on billboards, and published in coffee table books. He is an alumni of Central Saint Martins, London, and currently lives and works in London, UK. He spends his spare time reading books about gender and cults.
