Frank Moher
FRANK MOHER is a writer and instructor in scriptwriting in the Department of Creative Writing and Journalism at Vancouver Island University. His plays have been seen throughout North America and internationally, and as a screen and TV writer he has worked for the CBC, the National Film Board, and various independent producers. He is director of the pioneering online scriptwriting workshop E-script, and also the Executive Director of Western Edge Theatre in Nanaimo.
Michael Bruce Adams
Michael Bruce Adams is a produced writer with over 25 years of film and television production experience. Michael has written 37 feature film and television scripts and is a Script Consultant for feature films, documentaries and television series with clients in Canada, the US, China, Malaysia, Ghana, England and Spain.
As an educator, Michael began teaching story seminars with Peter D. Marshall’s Action, Cut, Print film directing programs. Michael then spent two years in China as senior writing instructor for Shanghai Vancouver Film School’s Writing for Film and Television Program returning in 2018 to teach select classes at the Vancouver Film School. As a filmmaking mentor, Michael served as story and production consultant on hundreds of produced student film projects. Michael continues educating internationally through workshops and seminars based on his ‘Story Courage’ theory work.
Patti Henderson
Patti Henderson is an innovative Director hosting a steady career in communications and entertainment.
She started in the world of journalism, which took her to multiple countries in a variety of positions, eventually writing, assistant editing and field producing for MUCHMUSIC and MOVIETV. As a fiction Writer, her first feature script BENEATH THE SURFACE, won top prize from Praxis Screenwriters/I.A.T.S.E. script competition.
With a thirst for learning the science of Film and TV making, she has worked for a multitude of productions in the capacity of Script Supervisor including RV, EIGHT BELOW, A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, FRINGE, LOST IN SPACE, XFILES to name a few and as an Editor for shorts, TV series and Features. Her growth in the industry continues with the addition of working in VFX, on and off set.

Darlene Tait
DARLENE TAIT currently serves as President of Cinevic, Victoria’s Independent Film Society, and is on the Board of the Vancouver Island South Film Commission and Women In Film and Television Vancouver (WIFTV)
Darlene’s first foray into film began with extensive actor training at the Victoria Screen Actors Studio on the 90’s. After some early success, her real estate career took her to Mexico from 2003-2013 and she re-entered the local film community in 2015.
Her film involvement since that time has been extensive – she has worked as an Actor, Producer, and Casting Director. Her strong business background has made her an invaluable asset to the independent film community where she regularly consults to and/or is engaged on local productions. As an actor, she is also frequently seen in independent films as well as commercials for Tourism, Real Estate, Air Travel, Health Clinics and others.
Leah Flagg
LEAH FLAGG is an emerging filmmaker with a passion for team building, collaboration, and storytelling. She left the world of professional theatre management to learn filmmaking from the bottom up and has worked as a production assistant, script supervisor, assistant production coordinator, production manager, and producer in independent and mainstream film/tv productions.
